Volleyball Recap: Prosser Takes a Loss

Prosser lost against Roosevelt back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rough Riders. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

While Prosser ultimately came up short, they really made Roosevelt work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 25-20.

Mar'Coby Dalton paced Prosser's offense, picking up six kills. Dalton got some help from Micah Kholodenko and his 21 assists. Kholodenko was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Prosser's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 8-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prosser is set to square off against their familiar foe Alcott at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will take on rival Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
