Wingfield extends home losing streak to three

Recap: Wingfield Falcons vs. Jim Hill Tigers

This season hasn't been kind to the Wingfield Falcons, who are still winless after their sixth match. They took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jim Hill on Thursday. Wingfield has not had much luck with Jim Hill recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Arrington, who scored 22 points. Arrington scored a full 31.9% of Wingfield's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kentrell Jordan, who scored 19 points.

Wingfield's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-6. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Jim Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Wingfield will be playing at home against Warren Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jim Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
