Soccer Game Preview: Menlo School vs. Archbishop Riordan

The Menlo School Knights will take on the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders in a tournament on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Menlo School's tournament run continued when they took on Wilcox on Monday. Neither Menlo School nor Wilcox could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Menlo School's goal came courtesy of Declan Sitter, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Archbishop Riordan's offense. They fell just short of Fremont by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Riordan now has a losing record at 1-2. Menlo School's draw makes their record 1-1-2 this season.
