A Season-Best Performance from Ryan Estrada Leads El Dorado over Parkland
El Dorado was led to victory by Ryan Estrada, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Estrada rushed for 291 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry.
Estrada is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Americas on Friday. When Estrada last faced the Trail Blazers last Friday, he rushed for 307 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry.

Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Parkland on Friday. Johnson rushed for 265 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry the last time he and the Matadors duked it out two weeks ago.

El Dorado was led to victory by Elijah Issa, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Issa rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 176 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes.
Issa and El Dorado will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Americas at 6:30 p.m. on November 1st. Issa will face off against Jonah Raya, the Trail Blazers' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jayden Macias Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Parkland had to settle for second even though Jayden Macias put up the best numbers he has all season. Macias rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 84 receiving yards.
Parkland dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. Macias and Parkland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Americas on October 25th.

Isaac Gutierrez Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles
On Friday, El Dorado got the W thanks in part to Isaac Gutierrez playing the best football he has all season. Gutierrez wasn't messing around, making 23 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending four passes. The game was his seventh straight with six or more total tackles.
Gutierrez and El Dorado will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Americas at 6:30 p.m. on November 1st.
