Softball Recap: Spring Hill Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Spring Hill strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over the Louisburg Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 on Tuesday.

Jayden Kistner made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Haley Clark was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jaleigh White, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Spring Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .875. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Spring Hill's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Louisburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
