Soccer Game Preview: Corrigan-Camden vs. Pollok Central

The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs will challenge the Pollok Central Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Corrigan-Camden's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Corrigan-Camden's offense. They lost 3-0 to Jasper on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Corrigan-Camden has lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Pollok Central also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Central Heights on Thursday, falling 7-0.

Pollok Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Corrigan-Camden, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Everything went Corrigan-Camden's way against Pollok Central when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Corrigan-Camden made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Corrigan-Camden since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
