Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Tessa Gibson stepped things up a notch to give Silver Creek the 'W'. Gibson struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). The effort marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in March.

Gibson and Silver Creek will head out on the road to take on Jeffersonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Devils thanks in part to Gibson: she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
