Moapa Valley can bid farewell to their seven-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They came out on top against the Boulder City Eagles by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Moapa Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-11, 25-18.

Leading Moapa Valley to victory were Chloe Dalley and Clari Frei. Dalley had 21 digs and seven aces, while Frei had 15 digs. That's the most aces Dalley has posted since September 4th.

Despite the loss, Boulder City had strong showings from Hayden Nordstrom, who had 22 digs and six aces, and Ally Jappe, who had six digs and three aces. Frankie Ford also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Moapa Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Boulder City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14.
