There's no place like home for Narragansett, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Prout Crusaders on Saturday as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won six in a row.

Aidan Clancey looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jackson Hohl, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Simoes, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Narragansett now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Prout, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Narragansett will square off against North Providence at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mariners 3, the Cougars 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Prout does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
