Baseball Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Valley Christian was the 14-9 winner over Victory Christian Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Valley Christian fell 11-8 to Victory Christian Academy on Saturday.

Noa Capistrant was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Eli Durepo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will challenge Cornerstone Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Valley Christian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will take on Rio Lindo Adventist at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
