Volleyball Recap: Pasadena Comes Up Short

Pasadena came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Burbank, falling 3-0. Pasadena was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Burbank earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Pasadena took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 26-24.

Pasadena now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Burbank, their record is now 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Pasadena and Crescenta Valley, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burbank, they will square off against Glendale at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Nitros at the right time seeing as the Nitros are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
