Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Davenport Central Blue Devils. One positive for the River Kings, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Davenport Central, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Clinton has already played their next matchup (against Bettendorf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Davenport Central will head out to challenge Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Pleasant Valley: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Davenport Central has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
