Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Pinecrest entered their tilt with Overhills on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Jaguars. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pinecrest was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 19-25, 24-26, 27-25, 15-10.

Leading Pinecrest to victory were Callie Garrison and Reece Baldwin. Garrison had 12 assists and eight digs, while Baldwin had 12 digs and two assists. Those 12 digs gave Baldwin a new career-high.

Pinecrest was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
