Soccer Recap: Niles Notre Dame Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Niles Notre Dame and Benet Academy meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Dons came up short against the Redwings, falling 5-1. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Niles Notre Dame it sure didn't stay that way.

Niles Notre Dame has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-1 record this season. As for Benet Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Niles Notre Dame will be taking part in a tournament against Chicago Washington at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Benet Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Plainfield East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
