After a string of six wins, Concord's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 57-31 to the Michigan Center Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 44-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Concord's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Grace Thorrez, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, and Hannah Stimer, who posted seven points. Thorrez is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played.

Concord's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Michigan Center, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Concord will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Quincy at 7:00 p.m. As for Michigan Center, they are taking a road trip to face off against Leslie at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
