With a playoff win on the line, West Laurens rose to the challenge on Friday. They really took it to the Beach Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 45-6 victory. Considering the Raiders have won six games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Laurens' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Branden Brooks led the charge by rushing for 118 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. Those 118 rushing yards gave Brooks a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Cummings, who rushed for 130 yards and one score on only seven carries.
