Basketball Game Preview: Aldine Mustangs vs. Eisenhower Eagles

Aldine is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Eisenhower a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Aldine Mustangs will host the Eisenhower Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-19, which was the final score in Aldine's tilt against Benjamin Davis on Saturday.

Mireya Molina was the Mustangs' leading scorer, having posted six points. Sara Sanchez took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Meanwhile, Eisenhower took a blow against Nimitz on Saturday, falling 48-15. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Aldine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18.

Things could have been worse for Aldine, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-36 loss to Eisenhower when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
