Football Game Preview: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. Franklin Sabers

Kenosha Tremper hasn't had much luck against Franklin recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Sabers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Kenosha Tremper took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-8 win over Racine Horlick. Considering the Trojans' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Franklin strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Kenosha Bradford a 35-0 shutout. The Sabers pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils had little chance of recovering from.

Kenosha Tremper's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Kenosha Tremper took a serious blow against Franklin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 55-7. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
