Soccer Recap: Norland Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Norland can now relate to. They came up short against the American Heritage Patriots on Friday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the Patriots are ranked first).

Norland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for American Heritage, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Norland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Heritage, they will face off against Somerset Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in American Heritage's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four contests.
