Volleyball Recap: Biggersville Takes a Loss

Biggersville managed to slip by New Site the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Royals on Thursday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

New Site found their leader in sophomore Johna Kate Lindley, who had ten kills and four aces. Baya Buse was another key player, getting six aces.

Biggersville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for New Site, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Biggersville will head out to challenge Thrasher at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, New Site and Baldwyn will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
