There's no place like home for Chilton County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Holtville Bulldogs with a sharp 59-35 victory on Friday. The Tigers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 7th (when they won 67-32).

Cayden Meank produced another solid effort going 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points and five steals. Damarien Floyd was another key player, shooting 43% from the field on his way to 16 points.

Chilton County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They are 3-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

With the win, Chilton County broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Holtville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Chilton County will be home for the holidays to greet Gardendale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Holtville, they will head out on the road to face off against Montevallo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Holtville will be up against Montevallo's rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.82 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
