La Salle Academy found a leader in Hailey Vigneau as the squad took down Pilgrim on Thursday. Vigneau was dialed in as she tossed seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. She played a big game the last time she faced Pilgrim back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming. Vigneau has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Vigneau and La Salle Academy will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Taunton at 1:00 p.m. The Rams have been dominating at home and they will enter the contest having won 24 straight home games dating back to last season.
