Baseball Recap: Lee Christian Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Lee Christian faced off against Northwood Temple Academy on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 16-6 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-8 back in February.

Jeivani Victorero was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Linkin Grey was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Lee Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Northwood Temple Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Lee Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they will face off against The O'Neal School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
