Fairfield entered their tilt with Frankfort on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Hot Dogs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hot Dogs, too.

Fairfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Beachy, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Fairfield's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Frankfort, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
