Mount Miguel is 3-0 against Bonita Vista since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Both will face off at 3:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Mount Miguel is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They escaped with a win on Thursday against Sweetwater by the margin of a single free throw, 66-65. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Matadors.

Mount Miguel got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trae Williams out in front who posted 12 points along with eight boards and five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerome Radcliff, who had 15 points and five assists.

Mount Miguel was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Bonita Vista earned a 56-46 victory over Madison on Thursday.

Mount Miguel's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. As for Bonita Vista, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Mount Miguel strolled past Bonita Vista when the teams last played back in December of 2018 by a score of 79-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mount Miguel since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
