Softball Game Preview: West Bridgewater Wildcats vs. Southeastern RVT Hawks

West Bridgewater is 0-3 against Southeastern RVT since April of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. West Bridgewater will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Southeastern RVT at 3:30 p.m. West Bridgewater will be strutting in after a win while Southeastern RVT will be coming in after a loss.

West Bridgewater was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Brockton on Tuesday. West Bridgewater blew past Brockton 16-2.

Regan Bryant was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bryant was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Alanna Fidalgo was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jillian Foley, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Southeastern RVT unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 19-3 to Archbishop Williams on Wednesday.

Southeastern RVT saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Robitaille, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
