Volleyball Game Preview: South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers vs. Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars

The South Bend Career Academy Trailblazers will head out on the road to take on the Lakeland Christian Academy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for South Bend Career Academy and six for Lakeland Christian Academy.

On Wednesday, South Bend Career Academy came up short against LaVille and fell 3-1.

South Bend Career Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made LaVille work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-16, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Lakeland Christian Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Caston by a score of 3-1.

While Lakeland Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Caston work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 24-26, 27-25, 25-14.

South Bend Career Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lakeland Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

South Bend Career Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lakeland Christian Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Trailblazers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
