Soccer Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Iroquois was not quite Fort LeBoeuf's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Bison by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Iroquois have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Camden Armbruster, who's now up to six this season.

Iroquois has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season. As for Fort LeBoeuf, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iroquois will host Corry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Fairview at 6:00 p.m. Fort LeBoeuf will need to watch out since Fairview have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
