Soccer Game Preview: Duncanville vs. Skyline

The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes will challenge the Skyline Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Duncanville's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, neither Duncanville nor Waxahachie could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The only reason the Panthers and Pantherettes dodged a loss was the performance of Mitchell Watts, who scored every single goal for the team.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Skyline brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Cedar Hill with a sharp 5-2 win on Wednesday. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Skyline now has a winning record of 3-2-1. With that draw, Duncanville's record moves to 3-1-2.

Duncanville beat Skyline by a goal in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 2-1. Will Duncanville repeat their success, or does Skyline have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
