Alphonso Timmons was a passing and rushing force as Chiefland topped Williston.

Princeton Alexander was the best receiver in the league this week as Ronny Pruitt's team bested Newberry. Alexander tallied 3 receptions for 62 yards. Cody Miller helped Union County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 35 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Fightin' Tigers' Cox and Alexander have proven to be a lethal combination. Cox has thrown for 969 yards this season, while Alexander has 13 catches for 235 yards. The Indians' Timmons leads the league in rushing yards with 873.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Chiefland takes on the Fightin' Tigers. The Indians have allowed 44 points this season, while Union County has given up 67. Chiefland allowed 6 points last week as it defeated the Red Devils.

The Fightin' Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,996 from 2,891. The improvement was largely due to a 49-14 victory over Kepa Sarduy's team last week.
