Basketball Recap: Winfield-Mt. Union Piles Up the Points Against Wapello

Winfield-Mt. Union's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-34 victory over the Wapello Indians. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Winfield-Mt. Union has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.7 points. As for Wapello, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Winfield-Mt. Union will head out on the road to square off against WACO at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. WACO will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Winfield-Mt. Union surely won't give up without a fight. Wapello does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
