Basketball Recap: Riverview Academy Takes a Loss

Riverview Academy was the 50-48 winner over Universal Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Barracudas fell 59-47 to the Falcons on Thursday.

Universal Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abdullah Sultan, who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave Sultan a new career-high. Brendan Brown was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Riverview Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Universal Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
