El Camino lost against Heritage back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colts came up short against the Patriots, falling 14-3. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

El Camino saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Olivares, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

El Camino's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Heritage, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Camino will square off against Menlo School at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Colts' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Heritage, they will take on Deer Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
