Football Recap: Randolph-Henry Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against William Campbell last Friday, Randolph-Henry came back down to earth. The Statesmen lost 44-20 to the Lunenburg Central Chargers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Statesmen of the 41-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Jamere Gray threw for 52 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Randolph-Henry moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Lunenburg Central, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Randolph-Henry will challenge Buckingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Statesmen will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Lunenburg Central, they will square off against Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
