Colton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Asotin, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. Colton put the hurt on Asotin with a sharp 15-4 victory on Thursday. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 13-11 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kiya Soza was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Soza was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Colton got a massive performance out of Clair Moehrle, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. Mere Bell was another key player, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Colton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Asotin only managed eight hits.

The win got Colton back to even at 1-1. As for Asotin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
