Football Game Preview: Sylmar Spartans vs. Reseda Regents

The Sylmar Spartans will take on the Reseda Regents at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Sylmar and 15 for Reseda dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Sylmar ended up a good deal behind San Fernando and lost 43-24.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Reseda's offense. They were beaten by Van Nuys 46-0 on Friday.

Sylmar's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Reseda, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything came up roses for Sylmar against Reseda when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 49-0 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Regents have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
