Basketball Game Recap: Ithaca Bulldogs vs. Shullsburg Miners

Ithaca and Shullsburg squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ithaca had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 55-31 to the Shullsburg Miners, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Miners are ranked 62nd).

Ithaca has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. The win was the third in a row for Shullsburg, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

As of now, neither Ithaca nor Shullsburg have any future games scheduled.
