Football Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Warren County's offense. They were outmatched by the Brentsville District Tigers and fell 42-0. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly 42 points.

Sawyer Beckman was nothing short of spectacular for Brentsville District: he rushed for 57 yards and two TDs on only five carries, and also threw for one yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing touchdowns Beckman has posted since back in November of 2024.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Brentsville District, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Warren County will host Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brentsville District, they are taking a road trip to challenge Kettle Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 4.7 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
