Hatboro-Horsham piles up the points against New Hope-Solebury

The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They blew past New Hope-Solebury 55-26 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Hatboro-Horsham has managed all season.

Hatboro-Horsham was led to victory by Sean Mccue and Ryan Smith. Mccue scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, while Smith almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, 11 assists, and nine steals. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Shane Phillips was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Hatboro-Horsham's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for New Hope-Solebury, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9.

Hatboro-Horsham will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Easton Area at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. New Hope-Solebury will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Plymouth Whitemarsh at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
