Pontiac won the last time they faced University, and Germani Hall did her part to make sure it happened again. The Pontiac Phoenix came out on top against the University Eagles by a score of 41-29 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hall, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds. She also grabbed seven steals, which is notable because Pontiac is 6-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 2-4 otherwise.

The victory made it two in a row for Pontiac and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points over those games. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pontiac will venture away from home to challenge Oak Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for University, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles duke it out with the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
