Volleyball Recap: Smith-Cotton Comes Up Short

Smith-Cotton lost against Lafayette County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Huskers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18.

Smith-Cotton's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-3. As for Lafayette County, they pushed their record up to 16-1-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Smith-Cotton has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Odessa on the 29th. As for Lafayette County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lexington on the 29th.
