Softball Recap: Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS Takes a Loss

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Osage Green Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Osage, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-0 defeat against Webster City on the 30th. As for Osage, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against St. Ansgar on the 30th.
