Volleyball Recap: East Texas Homeschool Sports Takes a Loss

East Texas Homeschool Sports was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LEAD Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat last Monday.

Katie Walton paced East Texas Homeschool Sports' offense, picking up five kills. Walton got some help from London Reitinger and her seven assists.

East Texas Homeschool Sports' loss dropped their record down to 12-19. As for LEAD Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

East Texas Homeschool Sports wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against King's Academy on the 3rd. LEAD Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
