Volleyball Recap: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Takes a Loss

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory was the 3-0 winner over Carmel when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory fell just short of Carmel by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 23-25, 19-17.

Kyle Conner paced Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's offense, picking up ten kills. Conner got some help from Henry Gallagher and his 24 assists.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. Carmel has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Southport on the 22nd. As for Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on the 22nd.
