Football Game Preview: South Columbus Stallions vs. West Bladen Knights

South Columbus is 7-1 against West Bladen since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Stallions will take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. South Columbus will be strutting in after a win while West Bladen will be coming in after a loss.

South Columbus will bounce into Friday's game after beating Whiteville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Stallions came out on top against the Wolfpack by a score of 22-15 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stallions.

South Columbus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaylan Hubbard, Rylan Norris, and Briar Johnson picked up one apiece. Norris has been hot for a while, having also posted five or more total tackles the last 18 times he's played.

Meanwhile, West Bladen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by South Brunswick and fell 35-7. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

West Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for South Columbus, their record now sits at 6-4.

South Columbus beat West Bladen 34-25 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Stallions repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
