It was fun while it lasted, but Pawnee City's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They lost to the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds at home by a 57-41 margin. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pawnee City fell to 3-1. As for Johnson County Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pawnee City and Lourdes Central Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnson County Central, they will head out to challenge Palmyra at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
