Basketball Recap: Northpoint Christian Skates Past St. George's with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northpoint Christian). They really took it to the St. George's Gryphons for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-36 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

The win (which was Northpoint Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for St. George's, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Northpoint Christian will face off against Lausanne Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for St. George's, they will challenge Harding Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
