San Saba is 8-2 against Harper since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The San Saba Armadillos will take on the Harper Longhorns at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, San Saba was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 35-31 to Junction.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harper). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 68-14 victory over Center Point. The Longhorns pushed the score to 57-10 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates had no chance of recovering from.

The win made it two in a row for Harper and bumps their season record up to 11-12. As for San Saba, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

San Saba came up short against Harper when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 49-45. Can San Saba avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
