Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Winter Springs walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Wesley Chapel Wildcats 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Robbie Mungovan looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Kenast, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.

Winter Springs' victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wesley Chapel, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
