Volleyball Recap: Memphis Home Education Association Comes Up Short

Memphis Home Education Association extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Monday, dropping them down to 0-2. They came up short against the Hutchison Sting, falling 3-0. If Memphis Home Education Association was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Hutchison when the teams met back in October of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Hutchison, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

Hutchison found their leader in freshman Claire Warner, who had five kills, three blocks, and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Jordan Houseal, who had 17 digs.

Looking ahead, Memphis Home Education Association is taking a road trip to face off against Fayette Ware at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hutchison, they will welcome Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
